PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging system and a method for photographing an image by which an image with resolution higher than that of a photographed image can be synthesized. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is constituted of an optical image formation part 11 (an optical image formation means for forming an image of an object), an image pickup part 12 (a means for spatially discretizing the optically formed image to convert it into a sampled image signal), an image processing part 15 (a means for generating an image with high resolution from image signals of a plurality of frames), a transfer rate detection means 13 (a means for detecting state change of the imaging apparatus itself) and an image pickup timing determination part 14 (a means for determining timing for image pickup).
