<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a cellulose ester solution which excels in filtration property and whose gelling property and releasability from a support (releasable support) can be controlled efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing a cellulose ester solution via a first cooling dissolution process (the so-called cooling dissolution method), which comprises a first cooling process of cooling a mixture comprising a cellulose ester and a cooling solvent composed of a good solvent for this cellulose ester (such as methyl acetate) and a first heating process of heating the mixture after this first cooling process, the cellulose ester solution is manufactured further via a poor solvent addition process wherein a poor solvent for the cellulose ester (such as an alcohol) is added after the above first cooling process is completed and a second cooling process wherein the mixture, obtained via the above first cooling dissolution process and the above poor solvent addition process, is cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
