<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus capable of measuring blood pressure precisely by detecting pulse waves of blood flow within an artery, and also to provide a blood pressure judging method. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring apparatus comprises a cuff for compressing a subject, an air feeding means for feeding air to the inside of the cuff, a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure within the cuff, a blood flow sensor for measuring a value regarding the blood flow of the subject, and a blood pressure judging circuit.
