PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a magnet for a rotation angle sensor which brings the shape of a magnetic flux density distributed graph to closer to the waveform of rectangular wave, in comparison with the conventional methods. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the magnet for the rotation angle sensor comprises carrying out one magnetization processing of radial magnetization processing and an adjustment magnetization processing for a circular magnetic object M1, which has a rotation axis O with the cross section orthogonal to the rotation axis O being a uniform circle; and carrying out the other magnetization processing of the radial magnetization processing and the adjustment magnetization processing for the circular magnetic object M1, that has previously been subjected to one magnetization processing.
