PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamp-type marking device which is for use in marking a marking point such as an earth excavating line by unmanned construction equipment which is remote-controlled, always positively achieves marking without nozzle clogging etc. as in conventional construction equipment, and positively damps vibration of the marking device due to movement of the construction equipment, in a short time. SOLUTION: The stamp-type marking device 2 which is formed by arranging a stamp section such as a sponge impregnated with a marking material, at a lower end of an ascending/descending rod, is mounted on a support portion 8 which is arranged at a front end of an arm of the construction equipment such as a backhoe, via an XY table 25 and a gimbal mechanism for maintaining the verticality. Then the ascending/descending rod is lowered by a Z-axis cylinder such as an electric cylinder, and the stamp section is pressed to the ground or the like, to thereby carry out marking. A rotation shaft of the gimbal mechanism has a stabilizing damper connected thereto, and therefore vibration of the marking device in two orthogonal directions is controlled by damping.
