PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure realizing simplification of a shape of a cover member for covering a gap between a leg part of a roof carrier and a peripheral edge of an opening of a roof garnish and communalization of parts. SOLUTION: The left and right roof garnishes 2 extend in a longitudinal direction at both sides in a vehicle width direction of a roof outer surface of the vehicle. Left and right carrier brackets 5 are fixed to a vehicle body at inner sides of the left and right roof garnishes 2. The roof garnish 2 has an opening 29 inserted with the leg part 4 of the roof carrier 3 and the carrier bracket 5 has a carrier support part 10 fixed with the leg part 4. The roof garnish 2 has a cover mounting surface 30. The cover mounting surfaces are arranged in the same plane and are opposed to each other at a periphery of the opening 29. The cover member 32 for covering the gap between the leg part 4 and the peripheral edge of the opening 29 is mounted to the cover mounting surface 30. The cover mounting surfaces 30 of the left and right roof garnishes 2 are set such that the cover members 32 having the same shape can be mounted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
