PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which preview display of a desired image state can be executed from among respective image states in a printing process. SOLUTION: The image output controller outputs an image in the order, in matching with a bookbinding form after processing image data to page data. The controller is provided with a preview means which has a plurality of display forms and executes the preview display after laying out the page data, according to the display form, and a selection-receiving means for receiving the selection of a desired display form from among a plurality of the display forms.
