PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel to hardly generate clogging of an abrasive grain part. SOLUTION: The abrasive grain part 14 fixed with abrasive grain is formed at an outer edge of base metal 12 made of cup type stainless steel. The radial direction width of the base metal 12 in the abrasive grain part 14 is 10 to 20mm which is wider than a conventional width. In the abrasive grain part 14, a plurality of radially extending slits 16 are formed. The slits 16 are provided so that the number of the slits 16 may be 0.16≤the number of the slits/outer diameter(mm) of the abrasive grain part≤0.24. Each of the slits 16 is formed so that a center line of the longitudinal direction may form an angle of 45°to 60°with the radial direction of the grinding wheel (base metal 12). The plurality of slits 16 are formed into shape to eddy counterclockwise. By this constitution, the grinding wheel 10 is made hard to generate clogging of the abrasive grain part 14.
