<p>A cover main body (3) is fixed to the cylinder head. A valve case (4), to which a control valve (6) is attached, is caused to contact a side of the main body that corresponds to the cylinder head. The case has a valve attaching portion (12) that is inserted into the through hole of the main body, and a held portion that is positioned between the head and the main body, respectively. The held portion of the valve case has portion that forms a passage through which hydraulic oil flows, and a flange provided at that portion. The flange contacts a section of the main body about the through hole. An independent claim is also included for a method of mounting a cover to a cylinder head.</p> |
