The holder (HAL) has a retaining spring which holds the light source in a socket in a mounted condition. The light source is fitted with contact areas on a reference level at the socket. A pressing unit (HAP) e.g. sectional level plate, is pressed against the fuse of the light source in the mounted condition of the retaining spring. The pressing unit runs parallel to the reference level of the socket. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle headlight and/or light module with a light source holder.
