METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CALCIUM-AMMONIUM FERTILISER

The invention relates to producing mineral fertilisers. The inventive method for producing a calcium-ammonium fertiliser consists in mixing an ammonium nitrate melt with a ground carbonate raw material containing a calcium and magnesium carbonate, in granulating the mixture and in cooling the thus obtained product. A calcium or potassium sulphate layer limiting the interaction of the ground raw material with the ammonium nitrate melt is formed, prior to mixing, on the surface of the raw material particles by treating the ground carbonate raw material with ammonium hydrosulphate whose concentration ranges from 20 to 45 mass % at a mass fraction ratio of 1: (0.01÷0.3), thereby making it possible to decrease the calcium nitrate or calcium and magnesium nitrate content in the fertiliser and to reduce ammonia nitrogen losses during the production thereof.
