<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed asset management system that automates the tasks of managing fixed assets for asset management. <P>SOLUTION: The fixed asset management system includes a fixed asset information managing means 1 for storing first management location information and fixed asset information; an IC tag writing means 4 having the function of writing the fixed asset information in an IC tag 3; an IC tag reading means 5 having the function of reading the fixed asset information from the IC tag 3; and a fixed asset information transmission means 6 for transmitting second management location information as well as the fixed asset information to the fixed asset information management means 1.
