<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation in binding and missing in binding or improper drop by hitting due to swing and miss of a release claw. <P>SOLUTION: This paper handling device is provided with a second conveyance passage 2c for guiding a paper onto a staple tray 14, a pre-stack route 2d branched from the second conveyance passage 2c to retract the paper temporarily, a rotary guide 6 and a conveyance roller 7 for conveying a paper in the directions of a staple tray 14 side and a reverse side to the staple tray side, and release claws 13a, 13b for aligning papers in the direction of paper conveyance by the staple tray 14. This paper handling device has a function for overlapping a preceding paper retracted temporarily in the pre-stack route 2d and a following paper to convey them and changes stand-by positions of the release claws 13a, 13b in accordance with the number of papers evacuated in the pre-stack route 2d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
