PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-power proximity AC current sensor for measuring the magnitude of an AC current carried to a conductor by use of electromagnetic force of a magnetic material adhered to a sensor by a magnetic field formed by the current of the conductor.
SOLUTION: The low-power proximity AC current sensor according to the present invention includes a magnetic material having a location that changes depending on the intensity of a magnetic field formed outside the magnetic material; a piezoelectric film disposed at a location adjacent to the magnetic material and configured to generate electric charge due to a change in location of the magnetic material; and a substrate for securing the piezoelectric film. Another low-power proximity AC current sensor according to the present invention includes a magnetic material having a location that changes depending on the intensity of a magnetic field formed outside the magnetic material; corresponding electrodes disposed at a location adjacent to the magnetic material and configured to vary capacitance depending on a change in location of the magnetic material; and a substrate for securing the corresponding electrodes. The other low-power and proximity AC current sensor according to the present invention can be manufactured by use of microprocessing technique and semiconductor process, and integrated with a semiconductor circuit. Therefore, a low-power and proximity AC current sensor integrated with the semiconductor circuit can be realized.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
