PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration and deceleration control device improving re-acceleration performance at a time of accelerator pedal operation after brake pedal operation during vehicle travel. SOLUTION: The acceleration and deceleration control device is provided with a operation quantity detection means detecting operation quantity of the accelerator pedal, includes a reference operation zone in which acceleration and deceleration get zero in an operation stroke of the acceleration pedal, and performs deceleration control in a first operation zone where accelerator pedal operation quantity is smaller than that in the reference operation zone and performs acceleration control in a second operation zone where accelerator pedal operation quantity is greater than that in the reference operation zone. A brake operation detection means detecting operation of a brake pedal provided just for deceleration operation is provided. The reference operation zone is shifted to the first operation zone side to facilitate acceleration operation by the accelerator pedal after brake operation during vehicle travel when brake operation of the brake pedal is detected.
