PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control power supply from one side to the other side between a transmission object and a reception object of an audio signal. SOLUTION: An audio amplifier 2 transmits a high frequency signal S1 whose frequency band is higher than that of an audio signal S2 to a sub-woofer 3 via a PIN cable 4, the sub-woofer 3 receives the high frequency signal S1 and rectifies and smoothes the high frequency signal S1 to thereby extract rectified voltage V1 of prescribed potential. By applying on/off control to a power supply relay 16 of the sub-woofer 3 by the rectified voltage V1, the high frequency signal S1 whose frequency band is higher than that of the audio signal S2 is used to supply the rectified current V1 to the sub-woofer 3, the rectified voltage V1 can control the power supply of the sub-woofer 3, and therefore, the management of the power supply of the sub-woofer 3 can be carried out from the audio amplifier 2 without exerting an adverse effect on the audio signal S2.
