PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equalizer capable of efficiently equalizing a front ghost and a rear ghost with a filter with short tap length, devices such as a receiver and a delay profile measuring instrument including the equalizer, and an equalization program. SOLUTION: A time reversal part 102 of the equalizer 1 reads a signal from a memory 101, creates and outputs the signal reversed in terms of time. A subtractor 103 and an FIR filter 104 constitute an IIR filter 109, fold a time-reversed coefficient in the time-reversed signal and equalize the front ghost. A time reversal part 105 creates and outputs the signal reversed in terms of time. A subtractor 106 and an FIR filter 107 constitute an IIR filter part 110, fold a coefficient in a signal formed by returning the time-reversed signal in the forward direction and equalize the rear ghost. A time window processing part 108 puts a time window for deleting a part of signals before and after the inputted signal in terms of time and extracting only signals near its center to the inputted signal and outputs the extracted signal.
