PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a shared usage computer environment and a differential environment in the same drive including the same user directory when logging on to OS for utilization. SOLUTION: When a shared usage computer 100 is utilized first in a rental office, information required for VPN connection is obtained from a portable storage medium 11 for establishing the VPN; a user computer environment file is read from a storage section 240 in a server 200; the differential environment is set to a temporary storage region, based on the user computer environment file; and the user computer environment is configured in the shared usage computer by the differential environment and the user computer environment. When work utilizing the shared usage computer 100 is completed, the information stored in the temporary storage region is stored at the storage section 240 in the server 200.
