PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller-and-cage assembly of a high load-carrying capacity-type which has an improved cage strength and improved oil-passing property. SOLUTION: The cage 1 of the roller-and-cage assembly is provided with retaining claws 7. Each of the retaining claws 7 serves as a come-off-stopping means to prevent coming off toward the inside diameter of the roller 2. The retaining claws 7 are protruded axially inside from the inside-diameter edges of flanges 3, 4, and positioned between adjacent rollers 2. Each pocket 6 of the cage 1 has a corner rounded part 6a at each corner. The corner rounded-part 6a has a radius r larger than the size of chamfering of the chamfered part of the roller in the manner to swell out to retreat from the pocket wall-face 6b.
