PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-free cationic electrocoating material composition capable of providing a coated film having excellent rust preventative properties and formed on the surface of a base material. SOLUTION: The lead-free cationic electrocoating material composition contains a zinc polyphosphate, a cationic epoxy resin and a blocked isocyanate curing agent. The content of the zinc polyphosphate is 7-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. solid component of the coating material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
