PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a printing of high precision to be easily performed without performing a complicated delivery control. SOLUTION: In the head unit of the printer, a head 5A has delivery port trains 611, 612, 621 and 622 arranged along a first inclination direction. The distance between the delivery port trains 611 and 612 is interpolated by the delivery port trains 621 and 622 with a slight inclination. An adjoining head 5C is leaned to a second inclination direction opposite to the first inclination direction. In the printer, two or more dots which are arranged as a single train in the first inclination direction are formed on a printing paper by simultaneously performing a delivery controlling for every delivery port train of the head 5A, then two or more dots which are arranged as a single train in the second inclination direction are formed on a printing sheet by simultaneously performing a delivery controlling for every delivery port train of the head 5C, and then both the dot trains become consecutive. Thereby, for the printer 1, printing of high precision can be easily performed without performing a complicated delivery control for controlling the delivery of ink for every delivery port 7.
