<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element equipped with a functional film which can be easily removed if necessary and to provide its reproducing method. <P>SOLUTION: Since an indium tin oxide film (hereafter referred to as ITO film) 4 is formed between a base material 2 and a hard coat film 6, the functional film 3 on the ITO film 4 can be exfoliated by etching the ITO film 4. Accordingly when a flaw or the like occurs in the functional film 3 on the ITO film 4, the functional film 3 on the ITO film 4 is exfoliated by etching the ITO film 4 and then a spectacle lens 1 can be reproduced by forming the exfoliated functional film 3 again. Thereby even when the flaw or the like occurs in the functional film 3 of the spectacle lens 1, the spectacle lens 1 can be reutilized without being abandoned to attain environmental protection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
