<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal transmission apparatus wherein crosstalk is hardly caused between an optical signal transmission section and an optical signal reception section of an optical transmission / reception module and to provide an optical signal transmission system employing the optical signal transmission apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A rigid board 27 for configuring the optical signal transmission section 26 and a rigid board 29 for configuring the optical signal reception section 28 are supported and fixed by different side faces of a receptacle 54. When the optical signal reception section 28 and the optical signal transmission section 26 are arranged on the same face side by side, although crosstalk takes place between them, the crosstalk can be suppressed by avoiding the optical signal reception section 28 and the optical signal transmission section 26 from being arranged side by side and the optical signal transmission apparatus 12 can output an excellent image. Further, the width dimension of the side face of the receptacle 54 is not increased more than required and the optical signal transmission apparatus 12 is not upsized by avoiding the optical signal reception section 28 and the optical signal transmission section 26 from being arranged side by side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
