<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rolling in of a tip part of a panel seal lip when a waist molding is installed onto a flange part of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This waist molding 1 is provided with a waist molding main body 2 having a U-shaped cross section, a projection part 3 provided on an inner surface 2c of one side 2a of the main body 2 to receive an outside surface of the flange part 203 of the vehicle, an elastic holding lip 4 provided on an inner surface 2d of the other side 2b to be pressed to an inside surface of the flange part 3, with the projection 3 pressed to a side surface of the flange part, and a panel seal lip 6 provided on an end part of the other side 2b of the main body 2 to seal between body panels. The projection 3 is provided with a position regulation surface 3a formed roughly parallel to the inner surface 2c of one side 2a to get in contact with the inside surface of the flange part, and an inclined surface 3b connecting a lower end part of the surface 3a to the inner surface of one side 2a.
