MANUFACTURING METHOD OF FLEXIBLE MAGNETIC DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a flexible magnetic disk exhibiting excellent durability even when a magnetic head repetitively runs on one and the same track. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the flexible magnetic disk has a step (1) for forming a magnetic layer and a protective layer on at least one surface of a non-magnetic supporting body by a vacuum film deposition method, a step (2) for subjecting the surface of a raw disk obtained in the step (1) to lapping tape finishing and a step (3) for punching the resultant raw disk in a prescribed disk size after the step (2).
