PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle AC power generator for preventing a belt from being erroneously applied and reducing the quantity of water received by a bearing. SOLUTION: The vehicle AC power generator is provided with a rotor integrally rotated along with a rotational shaft 24, a front frame 4 and a rear frame for internally accommodating the rotor and rotatably holding the rotational shaft, and a pulley 9 fixed at an end of the rotational shaft 24 outside the frames. The pulley 9 has a flange 92 provided on an opposite side end face of the frame and having a diameter larger than a pulley groove 91, and a flange 93 provided on a side end face of the frame and having a diameter smaller than the flange 92.
