PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal apparatus with an electronic mail function selectively receiving electronic mail of a type of data and a type of character codes receivable on a user side. SOLUTION: In the communication terminal apparatus with the electronic mail function for selectively receiving electronic mail of a predetermined data type or character code type based on identification information indicating the data type or character code type of electronic mail, a message indicating that electronic mail can not be decoded, is outputted after a mail header of electronic mail selected as electronic mail other than the predetermined data type or character code type.
