PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve for setting a flow change rate constant in relation to a turning angle even in any position, without changing a flow rate even if the temperature changes. SOLUTION: This flow control valve has an operation shaft 12, an auxiliary sleeve 18 for forming a spiral groove 14 on an outer peripheral surface, and a housing 20 fitted to the operation shaft and the auxiliary sleeve 18. A fluid passage is formed via the spiral groove 14 between one fluid inlet-outlet port 22 opened on the other end of the housing and the other fluid inlet-outlet port 24 opened on a side surface of the housing. Respective thermal expansion coefficients of the operation shaft 12 and the housing 20 and a shape of the spiral groove 14 are selected in response to using gas so as to equalize a flow rate reduction quantity of the gas of reducing in a flow rate by increasing kinematic viscosity of the gas by a temperature rise and a flow rate increase quantity of the gas of increasing in the flow rate by reducing fluid resistance by relatively reducing in the length of the fluid passage by a temperature change.
