<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a video telephone terminal capable of performing avatar communication in which no image deteriorates which meets the display capability of the opposite terminal. <P>SOLUTION: This video telephone terminal comprises an avatar data storing part 112 for avatar image (A image) data and an ID code, an A image generating means 103 for an A image to be transmitted on the basis of the data of the storing part 112 when there is a communication request to the opposite terminal, an image switching means 102 for switching an image photographed by a camera 101 and an A image generated by the A image generating means 103 and transmitting the switched image, an A image generating means 111 for generating an A image corresponding to an ID code designated from the data of the storing part 112 when there is a communication request to its own terminal, an image switching means 108 for switching a transmitted image and the A image generated by the A image generating means 111, and a display part 110 for displaying an image outputted from the image switching means 102 or the image switching means 108. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
