MICROSCOPIC INSPECTION SYSTEM FOR SURGICAL OPERATION AND METHOD TO PERFORM SURGICAL OPERATION OF EYE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic inspection system for a surgical operation to reduce sequela of the surgical operation.

SOLUTION: Marks produced by a pattern generating unit are superposed in a microscopic image 101. The marks respectively have a ring line 141 and a straight line 143. The diameter of the ring line 141 can be inputted via a keyboard by an operation doctor or an assistant for preparing the operation. The diameter is selected so as to be a value between the diameter of the inside edge 111 of the iris and the diameter of the outside edge 107. Though the center of the ring line 141 matches the center of the pupil when the ring line 141 is accurately positioned, the direction of the straight line 143 centering on the center of the ring line is selected so that the direction of an intraocular lens 131 is optimum. Accordingly an operation doctor can direct and position the intraocular lens 131 so as to be positioned in a desired direction accurately for the eye.
