<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a picture of a digital broadcast and a picture of an analog broadcast or the like and to switch display pictures without distorting images. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of digital reception, PCR information is separated from a TS stream by a TS packet separation circuit 3, a clock generation circuit 4 is controlled therewith and a reference clockψ<SB>D</SB>of a predetermined frequency is generated. An image decoder 5 decodes a coded image signal V<SB>C</SB>using the reference clockψ<SB>D</SB>. An analog reception signal S<SB>A</SB>is digitized by an A/D converter 12, written in a TBC 14 with a clockψ<SB>A</SB>thereof, and read out with the reference clockψ<SB>D</SB>to obtain a digitized analog image signal S<SB>AD</SB>' of the reference clockψ<SB>D</SB>. A decoded image signal V<SB>D</SB>and the digitized analog image signal S<SB>AD</SB>' are supplied to a synthesizing circuit 15 but when switching reception of the digital broadcast to reception of the analog broadcast, under control of a control circuit 7, a frequency of the reference clockψ<SB>D</SB>is fixed to a value just before switching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
