<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching device capable of providing excellent productivity by stopping a detection part of a recording medium end part detection means and a punching part of a punching means at home positions in a short time, a recording medium post-processing device, and an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This recording medium post-processing device comprises the recording medium end part detection means 2 detecting the end part of a recording medium carried by a recording medium carrying means 1 in parallel with a carrying direction of the recording medium, the punching means 3 detecting the end part in parallel with the carrying direction by the detection part 2a of the recording medium end part detection means 2 and punching the carried recording medium at a prescribed position, and a moving means 4 moving a moved body to a home position or to a prescribed position from the home position based on a moving distance of the detection part 2a of the recording medium end part detection means 2 that moves in a direction perpendicular to the carrying direction of the recording medium by a distance from the home position to a position where the end part of the recording medium parallel with the carrying direction is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
