THRUST ROLLER BEARING AND ITS ANNULAR RACE MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost by simplifying manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: This thrust roller bearing 10 comprises an annular race 11 which consists of an annular body 11a, a collar portion 11b bent and raised up from the outer diameter side edge of the body 11a to one axil direction, and an engaging portion 11c formed at one axial side end of the collar portion 11b. The collar portion 11b which has a circumferential groove 11d formed in the whole inside face is thinner at the inner diameter side. The engaging portion 11c is formed by the groove wall of the circumferential groove 11d. A cage 14 whose outer diameter side end 14d engages with the circumferential groove 11d is not detachable from the annular race 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
