1,162,044. Transistor switching circuits. RADIO CORPORATION OF AMERICA. 5 April, 1967 [27 May, 1966], No. 15551/67. Heading H3T. A differential amplifier includes a pair of differential stages 13, 14 and 15, 16 with a first input applied to one side of each stage and a second input applied to the other side of each stage, and one output of each stage connected to a first output terminal 21 and the other output of each stage connected to a second output terminal 23. In dependence upon the polarity of the input signal on the sense line of a ferrite store, applied to terminals 1, 2, either transistor 17 or 18 is rendered conductive by a signal derived from the input signal and applied at 24, 25, to render the corresponding differential amplifier stage 13, 14 or 15, 16 operative. Terminals 24, 25 may, for example, be fed from a flip-flop circuit. The arrangement of the amplifier is such that whatever the polarity of the input signals at 1, 2, the polarity obtained at the output terminals 21, 23 is constant. |
