<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where a heat exhaust duct is easily installed in narrow space. <P>SOLUTION: A heat exhaust hole 110 is provided in a unit frame 105 just above an image forming unit 101. The heat exhaust duct 111 covering over the heat exhaust hole 110 is protrusively provided with a pawl 112 on its side surface. A hook part 121 being a receiving part is formed on the frame 105, and the pawl 112 of the duct is fit in the hook part 121, whereby the heat exhaust duct 111 is attached to the unit frame 105. The heat exhaust duct 111 is easily attached to the unit frame 105 without depending on screwing. Besides, chips caused by tightening of the screw are not produced and the edge of the screw does not exert influence on the image forming unit 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
