<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the operation of a device and the stream of an object are stopped for every fixed time for cleaning to open an opening and closing door and carry out cleaning work and that the arrangement of a sheath tube, or a cylindrical body, covering the outer peripheral surface of a magnet bar increases the distance between the magnet bar and magnetic powder by the thickness of the sheath tube. <P>SOLUTION: The subject magnetic powder removing device has a joint casing to be incorporated into piping; two or more magnet bars positioned within the joint casing are arranged on a circumference at a same interval; and the magnet bars are rotated with a driving source. A dust box is connected to the joint casing to communicate with each other, and a means for drawing the magnet bars into the dust box and a scrubbing means for removing magnetic powder from the surfaces of the magnet bars through scrubbing are provided.
