<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can eject a transfer material in a stable transport state while suppressing influences of wax irregularity or the like on image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a cooling fan in a paper ejecting unit so as to cool a transfer material after a toner image carried on the transfer material is fixed by a fixing means, wherein the airflow of the cooling fan can be controlled in accordance with at least the presence or absence of a paper ejecting unit connected to the image forming apparatus or the kind of the paper ejecting unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
