<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured package for a roughly cylindrically rolled item which keeps seaweed and rice separated during the distribution process of the rolled item and which enables the removal of an intermediate packaging body only by a quite easy pulling action at the time of eating. <P>SOLUTION: This package for a roughly cylindrically rolled item is provided with an intermediate packaging body 10 mounted between cylindrically shaped rice 100 and seaweed 104 and an outer packaging body 12 covering the rolled item formed by wrapping with the seaweed 104 the packaging body 10 mounted on the rice 100. The packaging body 10 covers the whole outer face of the rice 100 from one side end 100a in its axis direction to the other side end 100b and is folded back at the end 100b to protrude and extend its end a predetermined length from the one side end 100a.
