PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a capacity of a refrigerating cycle, and to improve reliability of a two-stage compressor in a freezing device. SOLUTION: The freezing device is provided with the two-stage compressor 1 having a high stage compressor part 1-2 and a low stage compressor part 1-1, a high pressure side heat exchanger 3, a gas-liquid separator 5, a low pressure side heat exchanger 7, a first pressure reducing device 4 provided between the high pressure side heat exchanger 3 and the gas-liquid separator 5, a second decompressor 6 provided between the gas-liquid separator 5 and the low pressure side heat exchanger 7, a lead-in piping 8 leading a middle pressure refrigerant from a gas outlet 5g of the gas-liquid separator 5 to a suction side of the high stage compressor part 1-2, a first temperature detector 22 detecting a temperature of a gas outlet neighborhood of the gas-liquid separator 5, a second temperature detector 24 detecting a temperature of a middle pressure refrigerant inlet neighborhood of the suction side of the high stage compressor part 1-2, and a controller 10 controlling at least one of the first pressure reducing device 4 or the second decompressor 6 on the basis of the temperature detected by the first temperature detector 22 and the temperature detected by the second temperature detector 24.
