摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve machining accuracy in a mounting surface of a disc rotor. SOLUTION: The disc rotor 10 is equipped with an annular sliding portion 12 which slides with a brake pad, a mounting surface 18 which is provided inside the sliding portion 12 and includes mounting surfaces 20, 22, and a cylindrical portion 16 for connecting the sliding portion 12 and the mounting portion 18. In an outer surface 24 of the cylindrical portion 16, a plurality of portions 26 to be chucked is provided apart from one another in a circumferential direction of the rotor. Each the portion 26 to be chucked is structured so as to be chucked in a chucking direction Y intersecting a radial direction of the rotor. Due to change in the chucking direction, deformations of the cylindrical portion 16 and mounting portion 18 which is caused by a chucking load can be reduced. The portion 26 to be chucked comprises a pair of depressions 28, 30 provided in the outer surface 24 of the cylindrical portion 16 and thereby a salient 32 formed between the depressions 28, 30 may be supported in a sandwiched manner.
