<p>An Add Drop Multiplexing method, apparatus and system based on Generic Frame Procedure (GFP) involve network transmitting technology for elevating the rate of Add Drop Multiplexing, which multiplexes a plurality of GEs connections between a plurality of nodes to a byte synchronous interface for transmitting upon Generic Frame Procedure. The bandwidth of the byte synchronous interface is less than the sum of peak values of the GEs connections thereon. The plurality of GEs statistically multiplexes the available data thereon by buffer and process on priority when the network is congested. Kinds of pluralities of services are statistically multiplexed, and kinds of burst mode data services can be add-drop multiplexed, even mixed data services.</p> |
