<p>An image display device with which a time to observe a series of images of the inside of a subject can be reduced without disturbing observation of a desired portion of concern. An image display device for displaying a series of images of the inside of a subject taken on a time-line, the device having an image extraction section (15a) and a frame rate control section (15b), wherein the image extraction section (15a) extracts an image having characteristics of a desired portion in the subject and specifies the extracted image, out of the series of images, as the image of the desired portion, and wherein the frame rate control section (15b) makes a display frame rate of the specified desired portion different from display frame rates of images other than the image of the desired portion.</p> |
