<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium that properly records and reproduces data by laser having a wavelength of 300 to 900 nm, and to provide a new composite. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium, a recording layer (to be called A) formed by coating contains at least one kind of each of recording dyes (B) for forming a recording mark by absorbing a laser light, and a kind of compounds (C) having a structure in which a hydroxyl group is bonded to a silicon atom. The composite contains at least a kind of each of compounds, having a pyrimidine structure as one of tautomeric structures, and compounds having a structure where carbon-silicon atomic bonding exists, and the hydroxyl group is bonded to the silicon atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
