<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed which keeps a fixed distance of the gap between a back side rail and a foot side rail in raising its back bottom part. <P>SOLUTION: Both lower ends of a first link 2 and a second link 3 are rotatably supported by a frame 1. The base end of a deck 7 has a fixed coupling section 6 to which the upper ends of the first link 2 and the second link 3 are rotatably connected. An L-shaped rotor 4 is rotatably supported by the frame 1, with its upper end 1c being rotatably connected to one end of a third link 5. The other end of the third link 5 is rotatably connected to the coupling section 6. An actuator 13 is supported by the frame 1, with a piston rod 13a being rotatably connected to the middle part 1b of the rotor 4. The advance movement of the piston rod 13a rotates the rotor 4, making the leg side rail slide along the frame 1 while a fourth link, a fifth link, and a sixth link are changing their relative positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
