<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily construct a print setting processing environment superior in usability for enabling an extended function and a setting in an application side to be automatically changed to a print setting without any conflict by understanding what conflict being produced between the print setting of the application side and the extended function. <P>SOLUTION: The construction is characterized in producing predetermined response information by determining whether the print setting can be changed or not in accordance with inquiry of the conflict from a driver management unit 906 after acquiring a conflict process rule file 908 by an inference engine 902 at print setting changing indication relating to a printer driver from an application 801, and notifying the produced predetermined response information to the application 801 via a driver management unit 906. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
