SPREADSHEET DEVICE AND SPREADSHEET METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly convert a table expressed by a character string into a table processible by spreadsheet software.

SOLUTION: This spreadsheet device has: a character string collection part 11 collecting the table expressed by a plurality of ordered character strings; a numerical value extraction part 13 extracting a numerical value portion expressing a numerical value from each of the plurality of character strings; and an allocation part 15 allocating the numerical value portion to a plurality of cells corresponding to a multiple column number and a multiple row number. The column number of a first numerical value cell allocated with a first numerical value portion extracted from a first character string among the plurality of cells accords with the column number of a second numerical value cell allocated with a second numerical value portion among the plurality of cells when the second numerical value portion is extracted from a second character string adjacent to the first character string and when a position inside the first character string disposed with the first numerical value portion and a position inside the second character string disposed with the second numerical value portion overlap.
