PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone terminal and a portable telephone communication system that enable a user to select a plurality of communication functions through easy operation and to automatically select and actuate other communication terminals in case of a failure in connection. SOLUTION: The user preregisters priority levels of the plurality of communication functions for calling communication persons A, B, and C in a field 27 of origination priority of a telephone directory memory. When the user specifies the person A and performs originating operation, the communication functions are actuated in the order of TV telephone, audio telephone, chat and mail of origination priority of the user A and addresses are set and transmission is automatically performed.
