PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for connecting an electrode hoop for preventing an active material from being exfoliated and dropped even if the electrode hoop is bent. SOLUTION: For the connection of electrode plates, a tip end of one surface of an electrode plate 1b pull out from the other electrode plate hoop is arranged by making it contact with a tail end of one surface of an electrode plate 1a provided from one electrode hoop. The electrode plates 1a and 1b are fixed by attaching an insulating adhesive tape 2 so as to cover the tip end of the electrode plate 1b. The tip end of the electrode plate 1b is fixed on one surface side of the electrode plate 1a with the adhesive tape 2 to connect the electrode plates 1a and 1b. Even if the electrode plate 1b is positioned outside when a supply roller 3 passes through, the tip end of the electrode plate 1b is not flipped up outside and the tail end of the electrode plate 1a is not contacted with the surface of the electrode plate 1b.
