PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an austenitic heat resistant alloy having excellent clinker sticking-preventive performance in high temperature combustion gas, and having satisfactory high temperature corrosion resistance, high temperature strength properties, structural stability, and resistance to embrittlement by incorporating no Al and also extremely suppressing the contents of Si and Mn. SOLUTION: The austenitic heat resistant alloy for a clinker sticking-preventive structure lined on an inorganic refractory heat insulating material forming a furnace wall contains, by weight,≤0.50% Mn,≤1.00% Si, 18.0 to 28.0% Cr and 18.0 to 34.0% Ni, and the balance substantially Fe, and, suitably, further contains≤0.20% C,≤0.20% N and 0.20 to 1.20% Ta+Nb.
