The present invention relates to a light -emitting mat for vehicles in which a plurality of light -emitting diodes or an electro- luminescent sheet having a predetermined size is installed on an edge or a bottom of a transparent decoration plate having predetermined decorative patterns, so that the decorative patterns shine with a variety of colors as light emitted from a light -emit ting source is radiated thereto when electric power is supplied to the light-emitting diodes or an electro- luminescent sheet. An object of the present invention is to provide a light -emit ting mat for vehicles that can meet a user's desire for beauty and a variety of functions. The light-emitting mat is made of a transparent plastic material, instead of an opaque material with dark and dull colors, which are typical for conventional mats for vehicles, and has predetermined decorative patterns that shine with a variety of colors using a plurality of light -emitting diodes or an electro- luminescent sheet. Accordingly, decorative effect of the mat according to the present invention is highly improved.
